As a parent of multiple students at Childpeace Montessori School, I've been continually impressed by the academic depth, emotional care, and sense of community that define this school. Childpeace follows authentic AMI Montessori principles鈥攑roviding structure within freedom鈥攁nd each lesson builds upon the next through hands-on, research-based learning. My children have developed strong foundations in math, language, and critical thinking, while also learning independence and respect for others. The classrooms are calm, collaborative, and focused, and the guides model grace, courtesy, and deep listening. Learning extends far beyond the classroom through "Going Outs," community volunteering, and overnight trips that connect academics to real-world experiences. After sixth grade, students can continue at Metro Montessori, the middle school across the street. Metro blends Montessori philosophy with rigorous academics that exceed state standards. My son is thriving there, developing autonomy, responsibility, and compassion through service projects and meaningful work. Together, Childpeace and Metro provide an extraordinary continuum of education that nurtures curiosity, confidence, and purpose.

Childpeace has been a wonderful place for my child to grow from Pre-K through elementary. The Montessori curriculum is amazing at fostering a love of learning, self-direction, community, and leadership. The mixed age models and three year cycles really teach invaluable leadership and collaboration skills that most schools simply don't have. The dedicated teachers, guides, and staff make it a special place for children to reach their full potential. It's been a wonderful experience that has positively shaped my child. The adult:child ratio (not just teachers, but guides, aid, other involved staff) is fantastic. My child feels safe, happy, and she is truly thriving at Childpeace .

My son, age 4, is in his second year at Childpeace. He is absolutely thriving, and I can't say enough positive things about the school, as well as its wonderful community of families! Teachers and support staff are excellent and very experienced. They facilitate an amazing learning environment where kids are empowered to grow academically, socially and emotionally, while also really getting to know themselves and explore their own unique interests. We love Childpeace!

Childpeace is a magical place! My children have attended since they were toddlers and now my oldest is in 3rd grade. Having gone to public school I always wanted my children to attend publich school. But as I have watch my children thrive in the montessori environment I'm so grateful they can continue through middle school. I have been so impressed with how much my children are learning; both traditional subject requirements but also what topics light them up. In addition, Childpeace does an amazing job of weaving in practical life skills (how to be a part of community, clean up, take responsibility, self advocacy, grace, courtesy) without it being a boring/taxing part of life. I see the how mature, thoughtful and successful the alumni are and I know this is a great place.

We have been attending since my child was three for the past 4 years and plan on continuing through middle school. We couldn't be more grateful for the support and care our child receives from all the adults in her life at the school. The independence they foster, along with wanting to be part of the community, it really makes her proud of the human she is growing into. The school has gone through transitions of leadership during our 4 years here and in that time there have been some gaps in communication, however they have shown a commitment to growing from times and have taken feedback in earnest. Which only makes our commitment to staying at the school stronger, as change is inevitable and the support you find in that change is key.

Childpeace is an incredible place where children build confidence through intellectual exploration in a truly supportive collaborative community! I couldn't be more excited to share the magic of the Childpeace experience with others!

We have one child at Childpeace and have had a fantastic experience. Both the administration staff and teaching staff are dialed, responsive and caring. Our child has had a supportive and open environment to thrive (even throughout the pandemic). We feel fortunate to be part of the Childpeace community.

We have two children enrolled at Childpeace and couldn't be happier with the program. We appreciate the non-testing oriented spirit of the school that allows our children to develop and learn in an atmosphere free of anxiety. The faculty are top shelf at all levels.
