Groves Academy is the leading school in the Midwest for students who have learning disabilities such as dyslexia, ADHD, executive function challenges, and other language-based learning disabilities. We are a beacon for students who want to learn but are challenged with a learning disability that affects their academic achievement. We ground everything we do in scientific research and decades of experience, from our curriculum to our class sizes.
GLO teachers, tutors, educational psychologists, and learning specialists have helped change the lives of thousands of students.
The curriculum at Groves Academy is presented using evidenced-based, multi-sensory methods that address students' individual needs. Students receive a balance of academic skills, particularly in reading, writing, math, and strategies for success in school along with a rich array of enrichment and extracurricular clubs and activities, including drama, music, soccer, and basketball.

Groves Learning Organization (GLO) is a non-profit organization
that transforms lives through education and iscomprised of
three programs:
Groves Academy serves students in grades 1-12 with strong
ability and a desire to learn along with dyslexia, ADHD, and/or
other learning differences.
Groves Learning Center supports families and students in the
community with diagnostic assessments, tutoring, speech-language
evaluation and therapy, and summer programs for children with
learning differences.
Groves Literacy Partnerships shares our evidence-based teaching
methods with other schools and teachers in the community, to ensure
all students receive literacy-based instruction based on the
science of reading.
Groves Academy welcomes families and students of any race, color,
religion, sexual orientation, or national or ethnic origin.
