Our school is a member of the National Catholic Educational Association. Jesus the Good Shepherd Daycare is a Type 1 daycare licensed through the Louisiana Department of Education, the Louisiana Department of Health and the Louisiana State Fire Marshall. Our school and daycare exist to teach religious doctrine and spiritual values, and we accept this dual responsibility at Jesus the Good Shepherd with great pride.Jesus the Good Shepherd School has been a part of the Monroe community for over 60 years. We are proud to provide the best primary Catholic education in Monroe and the surrounding areas. At JGS, we are committed to educating the whole child academically, socially, spiritually and emotionally.
