Notes for Prospective Students
Our admissions standards reflect our commitment to serve as a
partner with the home and local church in the Christian education
of our students. We believe that LCS is most effective when
working with families who share the spiritual and academic goals of
the school. We are a covenant model Christian school. As
such, LCS partners with Christian parents in the education and
training of their children. Fundamentally, this partnership
requires that at least one parent be a professing believer in Jesus
Christ as his or her Savior and Lord and a member of a local
church. The theology, the set of beliefs undergirding this
covenant partnership, informs all aspects of school life, including
student admissions and retention policies. We consider
each applicant's academic record to ensure that the student is
sufficiently prepared for the instructional program at LCS and we
take into consideration each applicant's behavioral record.
