Lakemary`s Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility provides 24/7 therapeutic treatment for children ages 6-21 with dual diagnosis of intellectual/developmental disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder and a psychiatric disorder. Our program utilizes a reward system called Positive Behavior Intervention and Support. PBIS focuses on giving expectations, providing limits, and reinforcing appropriate behaviors as they occur. Lakemary`s school is a year round, K-12 accredited school. Each child benefits from services and supports designed to meet their individualized Education Plan, and have access to art, music, recreational, occupational, speech, and language therapies.
