Martin Luther School is part of a nonprofit, Gemma Services (legal name Silver Springs-Martin Luther School, which was founded in 1859 in Philadelphia as an orphanage. In 2019, Silver Springs merged with another nonprofit (theVillage) to form Gemma Services.
Located today in Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania, Gemma Services provides a range of behavioral health, child welfare, and prevention programs, as well as a special education school -- Martin Luther School.
The mission of Gemma Services is to transform hope into action for children, youth, and families who are experiencing emotional and behavioral difficulties.
