MIS is a Montessori primary school serving ages 3 6 in a carefully prepared, mixed-age environment.
The multiple age range encompasses what is commonly referred to as preschool, pre-kindergarten, and kindergarten.
The Tennessee Department of Education licenses our school, and students graduating from our Kindergarten program have the option to transfer to any public or private school of their family's choosing.

  • Our school is conveniently located on Northshore Drive near I-140. We are nestled within a quiet community and neighbored by a local church. We have ample outdoor space with privacy fencing and gardens for the children, and our school building was designed and built by a trained Montessori teacher for optimal use as a Montessori classroom.
