- We currently have approximately 55 students enrolled.
- We offer a Toddler Program as well as our Primary classrooms that go through Kindergarten.
- The school has been in operation since 1992.
- Montessori West Christian School provides a blend of the Montessori philosophy and Christian teaching, following the tradition of Montessori religious education, in a bilingual environment.
- The owners of Montessori West Christian School, Wayne and Virginia Plylar, established their first Montessori School in 1980 in order to provide a Montessori education for their two preschoolers.
- Montessori West Christian School was built in addition to their first school to accommodate the demand for Montessori education on the west side of Spartanburg.
- Additionally, Wayne Plylar is a custom home builder, therefore, building the schools to be fire and earthquake-resistant in an effort to provide a safe place for children to learn.
