I am a teacher at NAPS, but I am also a former parent. My two daughters attended NAPS and it was the best decision that we made when we moved to Maryland. Many of my neighbors would ask me why I was sending my children to a private school when I could be using the local elementary school. My answer was always this: I wanted my daughters to receive their foundation skills education at a school where they recognize and value the WHOLE child, not just academic performance. Small class sizes, a community of caring teachers and administration, a school culture of respect, civility, kindness and inclusion....these are just a few of the reasons why NAPS is a very, very special school. Many parents refer to NAPS as a hidden gem - we are that and known for helping our student shine!
