Open Bible Christian Academy, established in 1949, celebrates
over sixty (60) years of successful operation as one of the oldest
Christian schools in the Baltimore/Harford area. Founded on the
belief that children need to be taught and nurtured in a Christian
atmosphere, Open Bible has maintained a quality of academic
excellence that is equaled by few. Our emphasis on strong academic
skills as well as Biblical knowledge and Christian behavior has
produced thousands of exceptional students.Our curriculum is
Christian based, utilizing texts from Abeka and Bob Jones. In this
way, all studies are approached from the Christian viewpoint.Our
staff is a dedicated group of Christian men and women who devote
their energy to teaching the young lives placed in their care.

I LOVE this school. Your childrend will know that they are loved at Open Bible Christian Academy. We moved our children out of the Harford County Public School System to Open Bible. On her first day, my second grader came home so happy because her teacher gave her a hug and told her that she loved her. The quality of the teachers make all the difference in the world! Its four years later and my children are thriving. It's easy to do when you are in an environment where you know you are loved!
