Pilgrim Lutheran Christian School enthusiastically provides students with a comprehensive curriculum in a caring, Christ-centered community , preparing them to be compassionate, responsible leaders.
Our school seeks to serve with home and church in developing the whole child - body, mind and spirit.
This makes us unique! Many schools work hard to develop children's minds but fall woefully short in development of other vitally important areas.
At Pilgrim Lutheran Christian School, we celebrate our children as gifts from God with unique talents, gifts, challenges and dreams. Through academic challenge, spiritual nurturing and opportunities to serve others, we strive to create an environment where our students flourish in body, mind and spirit.
Within this framework, PLCS students consistently test in the top 10% of their grade level peers.
Our dedicated staff comes to school every day inspired to help your child grow further into who God designed them to be.
Come and see how a "cord of three strands is not quickly broken," and how your child will grow within the Pilgrim Lutheran Christian School family!.

Pilgrim Lutheran has given our two boys a strong academic start - they're already learning to read, write, think through problems, and get handson with science. Small class sizes mean teachers really know each child and can give the oneonone attention they need. The staff are warm and caring, and afterschool art and clubs add fun enrichment. It''s a closeknit, faithbased community that''s helped our boys grow in character - we''re so happy with their growth at Pilgrim and highly recommend Pilgrim to other families.

Our two sons attended Pilgrim Lutheran School from Preschool through 8th Grade. They were known, cared about, and supported individually by all the staff and faculty. They were valued and challenged, and very well-prepared for a private Christian high school. They received a strong faith-based education and enjoyed various extracurricular activities including drama. We as parents received very good communication about their academic & social needs and progress. As a result, our young adult sons have increased confidence & resilience, and both have hearts for servant leadership. Because of Pilgrim Lutheran School, our sons grew in their Christian faith and have strong morals and integrity. They both have good memories from their years at Pilgrim and stay in touch frequently with their close friends and classmates.

My two sons (6, 4) have been attending Pilgrim Lutheran School for 3 years and 1 year (respectively) - my youngest is in Pre-K at age 4, and my oldest will be 1st grade at age 6. From the beginning, our family has had a wonderful experience with this school. One of the things we appreciate most is the small class sizes, which allow the teachers to really get to know each child and give them the individual attention they need to thrive. The teachers are warm, caring, and clearly invested in each student''s growth, both academically and personally.Even at their young ages, my boys are already building a strong academic foundation - learning to read and write, developing their reasoning and problem-solving skills, exploring hands-on science, and growing socially as they learn to work and play alongside their classmates. It''s been wonderful to watch them grow so much in such a short time. Art and other clubs have been great after-school activities as wel.I highly recommend Pilgrim Lutheran School to any family looking for a warm, close-knit community, strong academics, and teachers who treat your children like family. It''s also a beautiful place for young children to begin building a Christian foundation and grow in character.Pilgrim Lutheran has been a blessing for our family, and we''re grateful to be part of the community

My daughter has been attending Pilgrim Christian School since Pre-K, and she is now in 6th grade. We have had a wonderful experience with this school throughout the years, One thing we truly appreciate is the small classroom environment, which allows teachers to give students more personal attention and support. Our time at Pilgrim has been really positive. We came from another school environment that just wasn't the right fit, and we were pleasantly surprised by how welcoming this community felt. The teachers and staff genuinely care about students and their well-being, and communication is always thoughtful and supportive.Like any school, there are occasional challenges, but they are addressed with respect and collaboration. Being a smaller school has its tradeoffs, yet it also creates a close, caring community that has given our child many meaningful experiences and opportunities. We're grateful to be here in such a diverse environment that values all backgrounds.

Classes are small so teachers can provide individualized attention while students continue to develop as HRS (Highly Responsible Students) and learn accountability to take ownership of their own success. The curriculum is academically rigorous with relevant coursework including art, music, drama, theology, and Spanish. They offer technology in the classroom to augment teaching.Teachers are highly trained with advanced degrees but perhaps more importantly, they are warm, approachable and totally supportive. They work closely with parents and administrative staff to ensure student success. Parent volunteers are wonderful and you can rest assured any school event or field trip will have several chaperones. Much time and energy goes into the care of the school and what it can offer. Regarding school events, Pilgrim offers several sports throughout the year led by fun and knowledgeable parent coaches. While Pilgrim is a religious school, it is not heavy-handed in its approach. It illustrates the best of Christian tenets in its global perspective, inclusivity, and acceptance--guided always by love, honor and respect. Pilgrim teaches peace-keeping and conflict resolution and offers strategies that work in school and out. Mission trips and locally-based projects underscore the importance of giving back. In sum, my child just loves Pilgrim and feels part of a tightly-knit community that is led by love and generosity. We have come to think of our Pilgrim staff, parents and fellow kiddos as our school family. The kind of support offered here is hard to find. I highly recommend Pilgrim Lutheran School.
