My two boys did not attend Pinyon but had Brandi, Chip and Margaret as teachers when they were at another Montessori school. My kids each have different learning styles but both benefited greatly from their Montessori education, which lasted from preschool to middle school. Montessori stands out in the way it cultivates creativity and instills a sense of purpose in kids that makes them want to do their best. On top of that, Brandi, Chip and Margaret are some of the most kind and caring teachers you'll ever meet. They nurtured my boys' interests while expertly guiding them to explore new subjects in-depth. When my kids transitioned to traditional education for middle school, teachers immediately took notice of them. Unlike many of their peers, they weren't afraid to ask questions, voice original points of view, and they helped their classmates. My oldest is now on the verge of starting college as a math major, and he already has four university classes and a math internship under his belt. I credit the foundation laid by Montessori and these teachers for giving him the initiative to find his passion and pursue it to the fullest.
