Hifz Academy is a premier educational institution located in the heart of East Tampa.
Our commitment to providing high quality education to our community began in 2011 with 12 students enrolled in multiple grade levels.
Since then, our student population has grown exponentially, and we are currently serving over 500 students. Students in grade Elementary (KG-5) and Secondary (6-12) experience academic rigor in the core content areas, Qur'an, and Religious Studies. Our program provided the students with an opportunity to learn and memorize the entire Qur`an, earning a distinguished status as a Hafiz or Hafiza of Qur'an, earn college credits towards their Associate Degree in addition to obtaining a high school diploma. Hifz Academy offers an array of after-school programs that includes basketball, soccer, volleyball and judo. Additionally, we offer afterschool academic programing that includes support for students to excel in literature, mathematics and other academic subjects.
AYA is a fully accredited PK-12 Islamic School with the Florida Council of Independent Schools (FCIS), the Florida Kindergarten Council (FKC) and the Southern Association of Colleges & Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS-CASI) that was established in 2004.
