Maine Central Institute (MCI) - Established 1866 For more than 150 years, MCI has been trusted by families worldwide to provide a safe, high-quality education that prepares students for university and life. Located in the welcoming town of Pittsfield, Maine, MCI serves grades 9-12 and postgraduate (PG) students. With 320 students, including 85 international and U.S. boarders, MCI is large enough to offer opportunities yet small enough for every student to be truly known. A Diverse Global Community This year's boarding population represents 17 countries and 3 U.S. states, creating a global campus in the heart of New England. Foxcroft Academy located in Dover-Foxcroft, Maine was established as a private college preparatory school on January 30, 1823, and as such, is one of the oldest private schools in America. Today Foxcroft Academy serves a diverse co-ed population of 400 day and boarding students in grades 9-12.
Foxcroft Academy is an IB School, accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges and a member of the Independent School Association of Northern New England College Board, The Association of Boarding Schools (TABS) and the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS).

MCI鈥檚 tuition is largely all-inclusive and covers tuition, room and board, meals, and most academic and student life costs, including extracurricular activities and academic support such as ESL.
Additional fees include student health insurance ($2595) and a $1000 refundable student expense deposit (RSED).
