I go to this school. When some kids say, "I hate school,'''' it shocks me. Saint Agnes isn't another school, it's one big helping family. When anybody has cancer, surgery, deaths, etc. in their family, my mom, (the vice principal) has emails from everywhere coming into her inbox about prayer intentions. So does everybody else. She has 2 meals cooking. One for our family, and one for the family with somebody injured, sick, dying, etc. I am in 7th grade, and have been at this school since I was four years old. You grow up with those people, teachers, parents. I can tell anything to my friends because I''ve grown up with them. Recommending this family is a no-brainer. My little prayer buddy would say the same thing about this school, she's in kindergarten. On Friday we were in church and she whispered, "I''d like to live here one day." I have lived here. I still do everyday from 8:05 to 3:15.

We moved from a very good Catholic school in DC to St. Agnes about three years ago. From day one it was very apparent that the school had a strong focus on academics, fostering good behavior in the students and giving them a strong moral underpinning. Compared to the old school (and to the public schools here in Arlington) the work load for the kids is heavier. That being said, people (including my relatives) have told me that when their children graduated from St. Agnes, high school was much easier because the students had a strong foundation in the basics plus great study habits. We've been very impressed with the quality of the teachers here and the staff seems to be able to attract and keep talented, motivated instructors.
