Saint Benedict is a wonderful and happy place to send your children. I went there and I want to go back because of the memories I made and the kids at the school. I miss it so much and want to be a student there again. I will send my kids there because it is so amazing.

When I think about all the choices available for education in the Manchester area I never have to wonder if I made the right choice, I know Saint Benedict Academy was a God send! Parents involvement is no means an after though here--there is a very strong level of communication and tons of opportunity to get involved. If I e-mail the teacher I get an answer almost always in the same night. Class sizes are limited and the both the teachers and the support team know the students strengths and weaknesses. I have even gotten a few notes that my son had a rough day or an especially good one. My kindergarten student is reading, doing science and coming home with great questions and thoughts from what he has learned at school--from pointing out the heart is really in the center of the chest and wondering why that is not where you put it when you say the pledge to reminding me when I complained the kitchen pantry was to small that many families would really be thankful to have so much food. The school is led by a very energetic, fun Principal who continues to lead the school with new and positive direction and the Beth in the office is always helpful and attentive, she always bends over backwards to get me what I need and knows what I need before I ask. Computers, Gym, Spanish, Art, Music are all led by passionate individuals who really love and are good at what they do. Even at a kindergarten level the kids are learning a great deal. They are doing graphs, writing words, learning site words, actively reading with their 3rd grade buddies but they don't understand how academically challenging the school is because they are busy testing to see if pumpkins can float, feeling real lobsters, making maps of the human body and charting their favorite type of apple. At least one day a week I get to wake up my child by saying today is special because its_____day (Red Sox Day, Field Trip Day, cupcake day, a special show and tell day) . As a parent I looked at a great number of schools before touring SBA. I chose this school because it has a very strong community spirit, a great academic program and allows the children to engage in positive social interactions both during school and through various activities, clubs and teams but most importantly how I "felt" being there which has only gotten stronger. If you are interested I highly suggest you take a tour because I cannot describe those warm fuzzy feeling that I finally found what I was looking for the minute I was greeted at the door--you will have to go in and check it for yourself.

We have had one child graduate and have two more still in the school. The teachers are extremely dedicated, the curriculum is challenging and the community atmosphere is that of a family. Saint Benedict Academy has been one of the best decisions we have made as parents!
