Notes for Prospective Students
Students entering Preschool must be 3 years old on or before August
1st and be fully bathroom-trained. Students entering Pre-K must be
4 years old on or before August 1st and fully bathroom-trained.
Students entering Kindergarten must be 5 years old on or before
August 1st. Students entering grades 1-8 must present at least 2
years (if applicable) of prior report cards and standardized
test scores when completing the online application (go to
www.stm-school.com for our school website and click on New Families
tab/Request Information or Online Application/Application). All
incoming students must take a placement exam and/or submit NWEA/MAP
test results so that we can determine how to best serve them.
Students and their parents/guardians are also asked to meet with
school administration (by appointment via online interview) to
discuss the needs and expectations of both the student and STMS, to
help insure future student success. 15% non-Catholic students
are accepted per grade, once all other acceptance criteria is met.
