At Hewitt, students in kindergarten through twelfth grade work
on understanding real-world problems and developing solutions
toward shared goals that are much bigger than their own individual
achievements. Hewitt girls and young women not only receive
exceptional preparation for higher education and rewarding
professional careers, they engage in deep, immersive learning that
sparks curiosity, cultivates purpose, builds empathic leadership
capacity, and lasts a lifetime.
Every student K-12 gets hands-on experience designing,
building, programming, and driving robots. Beginning in lower
school, students learn foundational programming skills using VEX
123 and VEX GO, two robotics platforms designed especially for
young learners. In middle and high school, students continue to
study robotics through their classes and also have the option to
join Hewitt Robotics, our competitive VEX EDR and VEX IQ robotics
programs.
