Victory Baptist Academy is accredited by the American Association of Christian Schools. At Victory Baptist Academy of Weatherford, TX, our students use the A Beka Book curriculum which, for more than three decades, has challenged students to excel in their academic endeavors by providing students with what has been called a traditional education.
Our youngest students are taught phonics which provides them with a solid foundation for reading comprehension, spelling, and writing.
Our elementary students gain a firm grasp of the facts of history and science while learning mathematical skills through constant repetition, and our secondary students benefit from a strong focus on grammar, history, math, and science.
While traditional in scope, the A Beka Book curriculum also provides our students with a framework with which they can build a biblical worldview.
At VBA, we desire our parents to play an active role in the education of their students, and our teachers are constantly communicating with parents so that goal is met.
My child has never known a public school. She has never known a bully, a feeling of being left out, or felt like a number to her teacher. When you send your child to VBA, you're instantly adopted into a family of like minded believers. Kids mix and match and co-mingle regardless of age. The older students become older siblings and mentor the younger students in a God like way. Teachers become friends, and parents become family.
