We have been parents at West Shore Christian Academy for 5 years. We couldn't be happier. We chose WSCA because of the high academic standards and Biblical integration. We feel that our children are being challenged academically, while growing in their faith and character. It is exactly what we were looking for and we found a school family in the process. We highly recommend WSCA.

Our daughter just completed kindergarten at West Shore Christian Academy, and we couldn't be more pleased with her experience there. She had a fabulous teacher who was exactly the type of Christian role model we would want in her life. Her teacher was creative, fun, and serious about her own faith. She challenged her students to live wholeheartedly for God and used Scripture to guide them through the difficult situations young kids find themselves in with friends sharing, taking turns, being patient, etc. We saw tremendous growth in our daughter not just as she learned to read, write, tell time, count money and other academic things, but as she developed as a kind, compassionate, praying little girl with a generous servant's heart. We are certain that WSCA is a very worthwhile investment.

I am the parent of two children at West Shore Christian Academy. My husband and I considered several private schools, but what ended up being the deciding factor was the Christian based education that reinforces what my husband and I teach at home. The student to teacher ratio is appropriate for individualized attention and for getting to know the students well. Both children love and respect their teachers and they enjoy school.

I am high school student at West Shore Christian Academy. I love that at this school I am surrounded by students and teachers that encourage me in my faith. I also enjoy participating in extra-curricular activities. Because the school is smaller, I get the chance to participate on the robotics team, the sports teams as well as the speech/debate team. At bigger schools, I might not be given the chance to do all of these different things. The teachers encourage me to go above and beyond in my academic studies and because the class sizes are small, they take a personal interest in me.

My children love West Shore Christian Academy. The low student/faculty ratio gives them individualized attention in the classroom. In addition, because the teachers and administrators know the students, my children have been granted the opportunity to be involved in the athletic teams, service projects, speech/debate team, student government and robotics. In particular as a parent I like the emphasis that is is placed on educating the "whole student. The academic standards are high and there is quality education from an academic stand-point; however, students are are also challenged to grow in their character, faith and socially.
