Woodlawn Prep is a community school with a Christian worldview. We also recognize that the learning environment must be characterized by personal excellence in work with high levels of engagement, motivation, kindness, service, collaboration, and respect for individuality and diversity. That is why we implement a Montessori curriculum from PreK3 through 6th grade. Continuing the Montessori philosophy, we offer a 2 year middle school program. Students are engaged in a thematic, interdisciplinary approach to studies that provide large blocks of time for group and individual work, and practice toward independence. Our high school follows a curriculum to preapre students for college and univeristy. The course work is designed to allow students to earn college credit while attending high school.
