We were thrilled when ASCEND opened it's doors and my youngest daughter with an Autism diagnosis, was finally able to receive an education appropriate to her needs and abilities. Through the years, we have made use of any and all educational opportunities to facilitate my daughters education. ASCEND was wonderful in following IEP and later assisting us in our search for schools when she needed to change school after Her 8th grade graduation. The Levin's have for 20 years dedicated their lives and resources to making education better for those on the spectrum. At that time ASCEND did not have a highschool age program and so my daughter was then able to do private school without accommodations at a college prep highschool then finish her highschool with an on line school . Without ASCEND being there the years we needed them, our educational years, with the alternatives available, would not have been able to meet our needs
