Capstone is a learner-driven private school that blends hands-on learning, self-paced discovery, the Socratic Method, and 21st century technology.

Learning is grounded in a mastery-based approach. There are no teachers, only guides, who walk alongside the students on their journey to mastery.Young learners at Capstone focus on learning to learn, learning to do, and learning to be.

At Capstone learners and their parents embark on a journey to take the chief hand in their own education, develop a love of lifelong learning, and discover their own unique calling which will change the world. Capstone is an affiliate of Acton Academy, a private K-12 school, based in Austin, Texas founded by Jeff and Laura Sandefer (@LauraSandefer).
