Once was lost and now found. Found this school during one of our toughest moments during Covid. David and Leila Centner graciously opened their doors to our family. Centner Academy is not just a school. It''s a small environment but LARGE with parents, teachers and staff that are different from the norm. They are extremely caring and nurturing and connect on a real level. They look you in the eye. They want to understand and hear you.We needed to have confidence that if our son were to spend a great deal of time with people, they were going to be top class with high integrity, and wouldn''t waver on values because of political agendas. We wanted a place where he would have an enforcement of the same values he has at home; hard work, integrity, truth, love, honor and respect. This was the place that changed it all. Our business was shut down during Covid as non-essential and we lost everything. Had the family not offered us financial assistance, we would not have been able to afford it. Again, based on their generosity, we were able to still attend school without the burden of having to worry about our financial situation.While the world was locked down and the kids were masked and handcuffed to their laptops at home, Centner opened their world to us where our son could be free from chaos, panic and manipulation. They offered our son a place where he could build meaningful relationships and learn how to critically think; an attribute we were having difficulty finding in the schools we researched. He learned about entrepreneurship and about building a business of his own. He also learned where food comes from and spent his time connecting to the soil and animals at the Centner Farm. He learned about clean food, bad chemicals and clean air and water. What he learned was not traditional with tests and memorization drills. It was deep learning with skills he could take with him for the rest of his journey. This has definitely shaped the wonderful young man he has become today and we are forever grateful.

I have been working at Centner, and my 9-year-old son has been attending this school for the past few months, and I could not be happier. The staff members are amazing鈥攖hey care deeply for the students and are always willing to go the extra mile to support their needs. The school offers multiple languages and a well-rounded curriculum that extends beyond core subjects to include art, music, mindfulness, entrepreneurship, public speaking, and a comprehensive physical education program focused not only on sports skills but also on exercises and drills to enhance cognitive development. The parent community is incredible鈥攊t truly takes a village to raise a child, and having an engaged and supportive group of parents where their voices are heard is vital for helping students thrive. I could not be happier to have my son attend this incredible school, and I feel honored to be part of this school family.

We have three children at Centner Academy in 4th, 7th, and 10th grades. They could not be happier with their experience.A typical day at school starts with mindfulness, continues with strong academics, and includes P.E. and recess every day, and specials (foreign languages, art, music, sound healing, entrepreneurship, and technology) every week. The organic food served in the cafeteria comes straight from the school's regenerative farm and is homemade daily by the chef.The school offers many events and activities that parents can be involved in. The Bee Happy Marketplace, Parent and Child Bonding, and the Regener8 Farm Festival are some examples of last month's happenings.All of the teachers and staff are super professional, loving, and kind and truly live out the school's core values.We feel so blessed to be a part of the Centner community!
