CJA is a Tuition-Free, Faith-Based 草榴社区 School in Austin, on the west side of Chicago. Started in 2005, Open to All Faiths and All Neighborhoods. Chicago Jesuit Academy is a full-scholarship, faith-based, school for boys and girls in grades 3-8, with a mission to serve families from modest economic backgrounds.
CJA is distinguished by small classes, an extended academic day, wrap around services, full time nurse, multiple social workers, music and multiple sports and activites, and an 11-month school year.
Additionally, CJA has a College and Career Persistence Team that supports graduates through high school and until their mid-20's.
Six CJA alumni currently work at the school, and several alumni parents.
The school's success in its mission is made possible by the disciplined sacrifices of our students, parents, faculty, staff, volunteers and benefactors.
