Both my children went to nursery up to Pre-K here and then went to public school afterward. They both loved and thrived in the school because they have a great early education program. When COVID happened, I switched my 2nd grader to DGK (my older daughter was in 8th grade and stayed in public school) and have been so happy I did. Remote learning is seamless. The school was open, in person and the teachers are very dedicated and warm toward the children, which really alleviates a lot of stress and anxiety during this time period. My daughter's third-grade teacher is really creative and fun-my daughter loves signing up to take the class pet hamster's home. we see the difference a small classroom setting makes and the ability to get more direct support from teachers. My daughter is learning the Greek language and dance, art, takes basketball and they offer a lot more extracurriculars. DGK is a great school!
