Hello: I recently came back to Polk County FL after being gone for many years. I cannot tell you how many people I''ve run into who raved about FUMC Preschool. Three women told me that they put their children on the waiting list BEFORE the children were born. That should tell this community something! Incidentally, I''ve asked numerous people if they liked the preschool themselves and not a single person said no. All children go through ups and downs; they may even experience separation anxiety. Yet, children do need social interaction in a loving environment prior to enrolling in traditional school in Kindergarten. For many children Kindergarten is fairly traumatic because it is an all day affair. When I went to Kindergarted, it was 1/2. I suppose that it became an all day event when so Mothers went back into the work force. Thank you to all who have made FUMC Preschool such a loving, caring environment that exudes integrity. If I ever have grandchildren, I could only hope they would be so blessed to be able to attend this Preschool or one just like it.
