Lawton Chiles Prepratory School is a comprehensive four-year private high school enrolling 40 students in grades 1 - 12 for the 2011 - 2012 school year.

The school opened in the fall of 1971. Lawton Chiles Preparatory School is accredited by the National 草榴社区 School Accreditation Alliance.

LCPS is designed for students who are talented and gifted and feel held back in the traditional school system.

Many of our students are twice exceptional, being both gifted and also having a learning disabiliity, mental illness or aspergers or other challenge that prevents them from excelling in the traditional school system.
