We could not be happier with our choice to send our daughter to Oak Knoll Lower School. She has truly thrived in the academic and social environment. The faculty and staff have gotten to know what motivates her, how she learns, her strengths and really just helped her be her best self. It's been a wonderful experience for our family.

This is our first year at Oak Knoll and our son is thriving in the pre-k program. Great curriculum, wonderful and nurturing teachers, and we particularly love the sense of community that the school has to offer.

I am a parent of a rising 7th grader. Our daughter just finished her first year at OKS. We LOVED it! We searched for the right type of environment that would challenge her academically and yet foster belonging and confidence. We particularly loved the focus on leadership for 6th graders. The school is amazing and the community is welcoming and supportive. We are grateful to be part of the OKS community!

We have two children at OKS in the Lower school and could not be more pleased. Both kids absolutely love going each day and didn`t want summer break to start because they would miss school so much. The teachers are so attentive and go above and beyond in every way. Families are extremely involved and it`s a wonderful community all around.

I have a unique role at Oak Knoll because I am a staff member in the Upper School while my son attends the Lower School. It's a dream to be able to come to work while my son is a student here. My son and I are both entering our 3rd year at Oak Knoll, and it's truly remarkable how much he's thriving. As a parent, I see first-hand how much care and consideration is given to each child. He loves every part of his day and he's getting a well-rounded mixture of academics, art, sports, and religion. I am beyond proud and grateful to be both a parent and an employee of Oak Knoll.

I have been a teacher at Oak Knoll for 38 years. I knew it was a special place from the moment I stepped onto campus. At my first lower school assembly, I watched as the youngest students joyfully performed with poise and confidence beyond their years. Just as remarkable was the audience of older students, cheering them on with genuine love and support. I am blessed to work with our children and in an environment where each person is heard, appreciated, and loved.

My first relationship with Oak Knoll was as a parent. My daughter attended Oak Knoll 9th -12th grade. She had an excellent academic education and attended Bowdoin College, her first choice. After seeing what an excellent .education she was getting I took a job at Oak Knoll teaching LAR. I was a fifth-grade teacher that was in charge of teaching language arts. It was great getting to concentrate on one topic. I am now teaching 3rd and 4th-grade social studies. It is so fun being able to work with other teachers and be creative. In the fall I did a unit on Native Americans and we wrote a compare and contrast paper, put on a Lenape play with the drama teacher, and the students used Project Based Learning to create a Native American dwelling. It is so great to have teachers to work with that love teaching cooperatively and making the lessons so interesting.

We've been Oak Knoll parents for the past 17 years and cannot be happier with the educational experience the school has offered our 5 children, all of whom have graduated from the Oak Knoll Lower School. They've been creatively engaged and motivated across the board and are confidently prepared for success in this dynamic world. More importantly Oak Knoll has become a part of our family's culture, defining a moral and spiritual basis from which we've grown together. OKS offers a challenging and modern curriculum in a nurturing and creative environment.

We chose Oak Knoll for our family of three girls... not because it was Catholic, or because it was all girls, but because it felt right from the second we walked on to campus. However, it didn't take long before we understood the value of a Catholic School education and developed an appreciation for the single sex environment. What a great place for our children to grow. As parents we take some credit for raising great kids, but we share the credit with Oak Knoll as well.
