St. Marys Catholic School (Closed 2010)

6124 Myron Massey Blvd
Fairfield, AL 35064
The Passionist Community established St. Mary's Parish in 1943 in a small frame church that was dedicated on March 21st.
The school was dedicated the following year. Over fifty-nine years later, there are three buildings that house children in pre-kindergarten through 8th grade.
The school continues its mission helping each student to develop through religion, academic and social training with a faculty willing to grow and share their own Christianity with each other, the students and their families.
We believe in discipline based on self-respect, a concern for others, and a display of Christian living.
We also believe that the best Catholic education for each child entails teachers, parents, and administrators working together in an atmosphere of trust and cooperation.
