St. Theresa pursues the promotion of Catholic faith and values in the formation and education of its young people.
Our religious and academic programs, that embrace the whole child, enable our students to grow in their baptismal commitment and share those Gospel values in the world in which they live.
St. Theresa School exists as an integral part of Little Flower Parish, and as such, has as its primary mission to assist parents in the spiritual development of their children.
In light of our parish patron, St. Therese, we seek to provide an atmosphere in the school that facilitates the growth of a faith that is simple, true, and unwavering.
Directed toward the formation of human persons in view of their final end, the good of that society to which they belong, and in the duties of which they will, as adults, have a share, our curriculum is based upon a commitment to the holistic development of our children.
The program of religious studies, academic curriculum, and system of discipline are designed to bring about our goals and objectives.
It is the shared responsibility of the teachers and families at St. Theresa School to believe and practice this same philosophy and to cooperate to achieve the goals of the school.

I am so grateful for St.Theresa School. My child has been a student here for 5 years. The quality education offered here is beyond excellent. I've noticed in school competitions, St Theresa has competed with and won, surpassing schools like Ransom and Gulliver. The students at STS learn kindness, responsibility and respect as well as honor, in living a Christ-centered life. The Sisters and teachers are very involved in their students and take the time to know each one's circumstances. I have NOT found any cliques of parents or students, making us feel left out. We are not Latino/Hispanic, therefore were warned against coming here. Instead, we have found a very loving, welcoming and kind environment where the children truly care of each other. I highly recommend STS and can tell you there are enough teachers and aides per grade to take care of each students needs. The principal, Sister Caridad is always there to listen if you need her as are all the teachers, especially the higher grades where students become family to each other. There are "Zero" drugs, alcohol or illegal activities and parents are kept up to date on everything happening with their children. This is the best school for boys AND girls in Miami-Dade county and I'm both grateful and proud to be a STS mom.
