The academics here is poor. While yes the English might be better than public schools. The math offered here is POOR. What's stopping me from getting a tutor just for English and going to public school. Additionally if you were going here to get into better prep schools. You are shooting yourself in the foot, either you have connections and get in, or you are really smart (which anyways you could have gotten in without Pike). Overall Pike is a huge waste of money, there are no special memories that make it worth it. Oh yeah forgot to add the whole brainwashing your kid with liberal ideals. I was a student recently TRUST ME.
