This Friends elementary school for children age three (The Friends Play School on campus) through fifth grade offers a comprehensive academically enriched, integrated program featuring Literacy and Mathematics with STEM, Studio Art, Spanish, Music, Outdoor Classroom, Gardening, Yoga and Mindfulness, Service Learning and Physical Education as components. Spiritual, social and emotional growth are addressed daily in community.
Children attend Meeting for Worship weekly, and Meeting for Singing each month.
As a Quaker school commited to Friends values, we celebrate diversity by welcoming families of all faiths and affilitations to this community. .

  • West Chester Friends School students learn in vibrant Pre-school age 3 through Fifth grade classrooms as teachers guide them through an enriched, integrated curriculum of Language Arts, Mathematics and Social Studies. Students attend weekly classes in Studio Art, Library and Literature, STEM, Service Learning, Health, Guidance, Yoga and Mindfulness, Spanish, Music, Quakerism, and Physical Education. There is an active Intergenerational Program. The Friends Play School on campus enrolls three year olds for two, three, or five day schedules, half or full day.
